Just had to make a quick post here. Last night after Megan got Sarah ready for before bed, typically either Darin or I rock her to sleep or she goes into her bed and falls asleep on her own. This time she did something soo different, something she has NEVER done before. Darin and I were outside talking to our neighbors and Megan came out to let us know she was leaving. I asked how Sarah was. She said "Well, she went into your room, got up on the bed and fell asleep." I was soo surprised, because this is something she has NEVER-EVER-EVER-EVER done before. I mean, that was the first time in her life she has ever done such a thing.
Well I went in to make sure she was at a spot where she was not by the edge of the bed, however Hannah beat me to our room and Sarah woke up a bit. I just hopped on the bed and she crawled up to me into my arms and very quickly fell asleep.
What a huge HUGE HUGE milestone. This is may seem small to some, but to us.... this is such a big deal. My precious little girl is growing up.

My Miss Hannah
Oh Lordie... when does it end? Hannah came down with a feve yesterday. At one point yesterday, I heard a horsey sound in her voice. Later on, she came to me very tired, unusual for her. She felt warm and soon began the coughing and runny nose.
So she is home today, feeling a bit better and pretty board. Still running a mild fever, but better for her to be home than to be out and about risking getting worse.
We are headed out to the store for a few and I mean few items desperatly needed. After that... well hopefully some lunch and a bit of down time before Sarah comes home.
Need to make an appointment for Hannah as well to see a Cardiologist, make an appointment for Sarah to see her Orthotist, and send a few emails out to Sarah's teacher, therapist and to her support coordinator as well as one to our HOA.
I will get it done. I will get it done. I WILL get it done!

Interesting Week
Well we have had an interesting week. Miss Sarah was home practically all week with a sinus infection an I feel like allergies along with it. Hopefully she will be able to go back to school tomorrow. She is board out of her mind and is getting very ancy and I know wants to get back to her friends at school
We also found out on Thursday that Hannah has an official diagnosed condition called
"HYPERCHOLESTEROLENMIA" which means that she has a hereditary condition that causes her cholesterol to be sky high. Her total cholesterol was at 294 about 3 weeks ago. So she will now have to be on medication the rest of her life and now she has to be on a much healthier diet. She just recently learned to ride her bike with out training wheeles and since then, she has been riding it every single day. She just loves this newest accomplishment and new sense of freedom. I am postive this will help with the weight gain.
She is a HUGE picky eater and is EXTREMELY stubborn. So changes to eating better will have to be not only slow, and I will have to be extremely patient and discipline myself to keep on top of this newest challenge. Hopefully with medication and better diet, in 6 weeks when she gets another blood test it will be lower.
So I am just trying to stay as postive and focused as I can. I know this is a huge shock, but with all we have been thru, I know we have the means to handle it and just take care of what we need to and keep going.
